Water damage in Elsah rarely waits for a convenient hour, and neither does our dispatch line. We built our Elsah dispatch around speed, because every extra hour of standing water costs more to repair.
Plenty of Elsah families have dialed a big national number and waited through hold music before a random contractor showed up hours later, and Hirex Water Damage exists specifically to fix that pattern. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Each senior tech on our Elsah roster is IICRC-certified and has handled everything from a clean supply-line break to a full Category 3 sewage loss, which is why Structural Drying in Elsah is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. Full insurance and Elsah, IL licensing back every job we take in Elsah.
Equipment lives in a Elsah-area warehouse rather than being trucked in from three counties over, which shortens arrival time considerably.
Talk to a Elsah landlord who's lived through a burst supply line at 3am and they'll confirm that response speed, not just skill, determines how much a job ends up costing. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
Our Elsah technicians go through regular continuing education, because a method that was standard five years ago may not be the best option today.
The Elsah jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a Elsah property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along, get ahead of it now — our Elsah dispatcher will tell you honestly whether it's urgent or something we can schedule.
We don't run a one-size response in Elsah — a contained bathroom leak gets a different crew than a flooded restaurant kitchen. Each item on this list corresponds to an actual step in our process, not a generic label.
Our Elsah units carry truck-mount extraction pumps that pull standing water out fast, cutting exposure time from days to hours. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans rely on moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden Elsah moisture is trapped, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
For Elsah homeowners, that means flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything salvageable, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
Multi-unit and commercial properties in Elsah get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment for the real square footage, not a token setup — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
When a Elsah job involves sewage backup, our team suits up fully, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
On top of standard drying, our Elsah crews apply antimicrobial treatment and will tell you plainly if a section needs specialist attention.
Every Elsah estimate is written and explained up front — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Response times in Elsah usually beat the industry average by a wide margin thanks to local equipment.
We document every Elsah job with photos and moisture logs and can speak directly with your adjuster.

Tell our Elsah dispatcher what's happening — a few quick questions get the right equipment on the first trip.
Our nearest available Elsah crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount gear on board.
Extraction happens right away, with drying equipment placed only after moisture mapping is complete.
Daily moisture checks continue on every Elsah job until each material reads dry, and you get a full report at the end.
Our Elsah technicians take moisture readings at the start and end of every job, and the final number has to hit dry standard before we leave. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every Elsah work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. We try to return the same crew for any callback so the person handling it already knows the property and the original readings.
Trust matters, but in restoration work, documented moisture readings matter more, and that's what our Elsah guarantee is built on.
